🔨 Trend Kit
Overview
Trend Kit refines your pre-trend confirmation using technical tools (MACD, SuperTrend, EMA/SMA, VWAP). It works together with Trend Direction (Bullish/Bearish) and Trend Structure Mode (Fixed/Dynamic).
- In Fixed Mode: the BarsCount window starts from the bar before Candlestick #1.
- In Dynamic Mode: the BarsCount window starts from the bar before the 100%-Level.
- For a valid trend, every bar in the BarsCount window must satisfy the chosen tool’s rule.
Trend Kit ↹ BarsCount
Controls the number of consecutive bars required to confirm trend alignment.
- Bullish Trend → Each bar’s Close must remain above the selected tool’s reference (or for MACD, the MACD Line has to be above Signal Line) for the entire BarsCount.
- Bearish Trend → Each bar’s Close must remain below the selected tool’s reference (or for MACD, the MACD Line has to be below Signal Line) for the entire BarsCount.
BarsCount starts from the bar before Candlestick #1 in Fixed Mode, or from the bar before 100%-Level in Dynamic Mode. If any bar fails, the trend is invalidated.
MACD
Enable MACD trend-confirmation.
- Choice: MACD EMA or MACD SMA
Parameters
- FL-L: Fast Length.
- SL-L: Slow Length.
- SG-L: Signal Length.
- SRC: MACD Source.
Rules
- Bullish Trend → MACD Line above Signal Line for all bars in BarsCount.
- Bearish Trend → MACD Line below Signal Line for all bars in BarsCount.

Supertrend
Enable SuperTrend (classic or MA-based variants).
- Choice: SuperTrend / SuperTrend EMA / SuperTrend SMA
Parameters
- ATR-L: ATR Length.
- ATR-F: ATR Multiplier.
- MA-L: Moving Average Length for Supertrend EMA/SMA.
- MA-S: Moving Average Source for Supertrend EMA/SMA.
Rules
- Bullish Trend → Close above SuperTrend line for all bars in BarsCount.
- Bearish Trend → Close below SuperTrend line for all bars in BarsCount.

Enable moving-average / VWAP-based confirmation, or a combined check.
- Choice: EMA / SMA / VWAP / EMA & VWAP / SMA & VWAP.
Parameters
- MA-L: Moving Average Length for EMA/SMA.
- MA-S: Moving Average Source for EMA/SMA.
- VWAP-A: Anchor Period for VWAP.
- VWAP-S: VWAP Source for VWAP.
Rules
- Bullish Trend → Close above the selected indicator(s) for all bars in BarsCount.
- Bearish Trend → Close below the selected indicator(s) for all bars in BarsCount.
