🔔 Alert Strategy
Overview
Alert Strategy lets you build a highly flexible alert system for your configurations.
You can trigger right at the close of the last candle in your pattern, or go further and place your alert on a specific percentage scale, either on the Trend%Scale or on a chosen candle percentage scale of your choice. You can also combine both methods to be alerted by both condition.
Alerts Strategy
Choose the alert trigger method:
- Last Candle Close → Triggers when the last candlestick of the detected pattern closes.
- Alert-%Scale → Triggers when price crosses your chosen %Scale level (from Trend%Scale or a candle's %Scale).
- Both Alerts → Triggers on both condition (close of last candle and %Scale cross).
Examples
Alert-%Scale alerts apply to the most recently detected setup. If a new setup appears, the alert logic references the latest one.
%Scale Filter & Alert-%Scale Level
Select which percentage scale your Alert uses as reference to position his level on %Scale Filter setting.
Then, set the percentage level (Alert-%Scale Level) on the selected percentage scale on %Scale Filter where the Alert is positionned.
(Applies to Alert-%Scale and Both Alerts)
Percentage Scale Choice:
- Trend%Scale
- First%Scale #1 / Second%Scale #1
- First%Scale #2 / Second%Scale #2
- First%Scale #3 / Second%Scale #3
- First%Scale #4
Use Trend%Scale to anchor alerts level to the pre-trend structure, or choose a candle’s First/Second%Scale.
Examples
Trend%Scale is available only if Trend Direction is Bullish or Bearish Trend. Otherwise, pick a First/Second%Scale from one of your pattern candles.
MaxRange Trigger
Define the maximum number of bars after detection during which a %Scale-based alert remains valid. If price doesn’t hit your %Scale alert level within this window, the %Scale alert expires (it won’t trigger for that setup anymore).
(Applies to Alert-%Scale and Both Alerts)
Examples
Keep MaxRange Trigger tight to avoid stale alerts firing far from the original setup context.
