📈 Trend Setup

Trend Direction

You can filter your pattern based on market direction: Bullish Trend, Bearish Trend, or no trend filter at all (None). This allows you to search for patterns that only appear during a certain type of trend movement. This setting applies to both the Trend % Scale configuration and the BarClose & TrendTools settings.

Trend % Scale

This option checks whether the previous price move before your pattern meets a specific percentage change (up or down). It’s a way to define trends based on how strong the last move was.

BarClose & TrendTools

Instead of using only raw price movement, you can define trend direction using tools like MACD, EMA, VWAP, or Supertrend. You can also use simple rules like: “close is higher than X bars ago.”
