Lookback VolumeBars For Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier

The 'Lookback VolumeBars' parameter allows you to determine on how many bars the 'Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier' should operate on.

This 'Lookback VolumeBars' is only linked to the 'Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier' parameter.

Example: If you enter a value of 5 on the 'Lookback VolumeBars'. This will calculate which VolumeBar has the highest volume over the last 5 VolumeBars before your Candlestick. Then, the 'Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier' parameter will begin his calculation from this highest Lookback VolumeBar preceding your main Candlestick VolumeBar.

Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier Min/Max

The 'Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier' parameter allows you to set a range (min-max) for the height of the VolumeBar for your main Candlestick.

The multiplier calculation for the VolumeBar of your main Candlestick starts from the highest volume from the 'Lookback VolumeBars'.

Example: If I set a value of 5 for the 'Lookback VolumeBars' and the highest VolumeBar of the 5 bars before your main Candlestick is the 3rd bar.

Then the multiplier will calculate the min-max height of the VolumeBar of your main Candlestick based on the volume of the 3rd VolumeBar preceding your main Candlestick.

So, if I set a minimum value of 2 and a maximum value of 5 for the 'Vol-Bar-Height Multiplier'. Thus, the height of the VolumeBar of your main Candlestick should be between two times (2x) to five times (5x) the height of the 3rd Lookback VolumeBar.

Please note that the minimum value should always be lower than the maximum value.

CandleVolume Size Minimum

With the 'CandleVolume Size Minimum' settings, you can determine a minimum value for the volume size of your Candlestick.

Also, you can determine a specific unit in the drop-down list for the volume of your Candlestick.

This parameter therefore allows you to avoid volumes that are too weak for your Candlestick.

Example 1: If you want the Volume size of your Candlestick to be a minimum of 4 million. So, put a value of 4 and choose 'M [Million]' from the drop-down list.

Example 2: If you want the Volume size of your Candlestick to be 10 but you don't necessarily want to specify a unit. So, put a value of 10 and choose 'None' from the drop-down list. And so you will detect a minimum of the volume of your Candlestick at 10 or 10K (Thousand) or 10M (Million) or 10B (Billion).

Vol-Cross-MvgAvg | MvgAvg Length

The 'Vol-Cross-MvgAvg' parameter allows you to decide if you want the volume of your Candlestick above the weighted moving average of the market volume.

You can select the appropriate 'Length' value for the moving average and choose the type of moving average from the dropdown list.
